There I could observe how work in European institutions looks like and from this moment work in European institutions became my dream. Moreover, I am also a huge fan of good movies and books.

Lawyer — currently working in an EU agency, PhD candidate in law — preparing his thesis in biojurisprudence. Previously engaged with ClientEarth, environmental law NGO. Additionally, he has gained his professional experience with Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights, Student Legal Clinic, the court, law firms, European Law Students’ Association and European Youth Parliament.

Anna Ferlin

Anna Ferlin

A graduate of International Relations from the Collegium Civitas in Warsaw. Intern of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland. Her main areas of ​​interest are foreign policy and geopolitics of European countries. During her professional career, she gathered an experience in digital marketing as a social media manager and content designer. Currently also a student and a member of the Student Council of the International School of Costume and Fashion Design.

University of Warsaw graduate, currently a student of international relations at the University of Birmingham. His work is mainly centred on theories of international relations and great-power politics. He has published articles in several socio-political magazines, among others in Liberté! and Przegląd Polityczny.

Angelika Gieraś

Angelika Gieraś

She graduated of European studies, with honours, at the University of Warsaw. A member of the Polish Society for European Studies. She has completed internship at the Representation of the European Commission in Poland, the Ministry of Health and the european network information portals — Euractiv.pl. Participant of the project “Initiative for the environment: How to sell Europe?” which was organized by the European Volunteer Center of the University of Warsaw. She was European Union Careers Ambassador, currently lecturer at the Institute of European Studies at the University of Warsaw. Organizer of several scientific conferences at the University of Warsaw, as well as a speaker at several of them. Interested in the EU decision-making process and the role of the President of the European Council in the EU institutional system.

Maciej Giers

Maciej Giers

Vice-president of The Polish Forum of Young Diplomats, graduate of applied linguistics at the University of Warsaw. Former scholar of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. In 2016 he participated in an international election observation mission to Slovakia. He has published his articles i.e. in “Przegląd Bałtycki”. In his free time he rides a bike, learns foreign languages, reads Dostojewski’s novels and travels to the East. As for now he has visited Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Student of University of Warsaw Faculty of Law and Administration as well as University of Warsaw Institute of Philosophy, since 2017 engaged in first observation programme of public gatherings in Poland organized by Amnesty International, intern at Embassy of the United States of America in Warsaw, involved in the development of NGOs of diplomatic profile (Polish Forum of Young Diplomats) and academic student societies (Comparative Law Society of WPiA UW), political commentator, amateur blogger.

Scholarship holder of the Prime Minister in 2017-2018. He has the distinction of “Meritorious Honorary Blood Donor of the Third Degree, awarded by the Polish Red Cross.

Ukończyła studia licencjackie na kierunku stosunki międzynarodowe na UKSW. Jestem w trakcie studiów na kierunku politologia II stopnia, specjalizacja Dyplomacja i Analityka Polityczna, UKSW. Odbywałam praktyki w Europejskim Centrum Konsumenckim i w Instytucie Spraw Publicznych, w którym badałam zgodność polityk samorządów polskich ze standardami Deklaracji UN praw człowieka w kontekście osób niepełnosprawnych.

Kamil Laskowski

Second-year student at the College of Inter-Area Individual Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw. Within the College he focuses on studying Law, but he also attended Art History and Sociology classes. He worked for Sinfonia Varsovia and organized a few music festivals. This year he participates in the Warsaw Philharmonic Volunteer Programme. As a beginning music journalist he interviewed polish and foreign artists for the newsletter issued by Warsaw Philharmonic Education Department. His main field of scientific interest is legal philosophy, whereas his favourite leisure activities are opera and reading books by acclaimed writers.

A graduate in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration and the British Law Centre of the University of Warsaw. Awarded 2nd prize for the best thesis on contemporary international relations in 2017 by Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs. Gained professional experience as an intern for i.a. the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Clifford Chance and ClientEarth. Member of Polish Forum of Young diplomats since 2018 and civic observer in 2018 local elections. Professional interests: cyber warfare, international law and UK politics. Hobbies: travels, cycling and RPG.

Patrycja Pikała

Patrycja Pikała

Recent graduate from the University of Warsaw in the field of European Studies and Applied Linguistics. She has had an opportunity to study at the Maastricht University and the University of East Anglia. In the past, she volunteered in youth organizations, both in Warsaw and Maastricht, and she now continues her cooperation with KN Nippo. Her field of expertise is the relationship between the Asia-Pacific region and the EU. She currently works for several language schools in Warsaw.

Member of the Warsaw District Board of the Razem political party. Holds a BA. in European Social and Political Studies from the University College London. Started her professional career in public sector advisory at a consulting firm KPMG — her experience includes digital transformation and customer experience design for the HM Revenues & Customs. Currently works as a service designer. Interested in social aspects of digitalisation; in the past she worked at the Centrum Cyfrowe think-tank and was a mentor to the participants of a hackathon organised by the Warsaw National Museum. A big reportage fan, she is a laureate of a journalist competition organised by the European Commission Representation in Poland.

Oleksandr Shevchenko

He has graduated from the faculty of international relations at the Odessa National University (2012) and the East European Studies at the University of Warsaw (2018). Worked in the Department of European Integration of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and at the Odessa National University, where he conducted seminars on the subjects of “Foreign Policy of the Russian Federation” and “Current Problems of the Black Sea Region”. He participated in a lot of scientific conferences concerning Polish-Ukrainian relations, author of scientific articles in Polish and Ukrainian scientific journals. From 2018, he is a student of post-graduate studies at the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Currently a student at the University of Warsaw in the field of International Relations. He specializes in foreign policy of Poland and the EU with the countries of the former USSR, India and East Asia.

Student of the third year of European Studies and Law in University of Warsaw. As part of European Studies, in May this year she was in the group of people who won the competition about promotion of the European Union. Project “The EU is female too” was about important role of women in the European Union. In everyday life she is passionate about Polish and European politics. Her goal is to be the part of the institutions of European Union and be able to live her dream of the European Union as a unity in its diversity.

She has graduated from Sociology and Social Anthropology at the Institute of Applied Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw. For two years she was a volunteer at the Academic Radio Kampus. She is a big enthusiast and practitioner of the Forum Theatre Method. In recent years she has collaborated with various NGOs, e.g. 4YOUth Foundation for Supporting Youth Initiatives, Centre for Women’s Rights and ATD Poland. Currently she is working in Stowarzyszenie 61.
